Contra Costa County Fire gets a new logo. As times change so does the fire departments look. The Fire Department wanted to provide a clear and visible change to communicate to the public why we exist. The new logo has our “Core Values” for all to see.

Engineer Nick Galvan has served 33 years as a career firefighter. He often spends time “passing it on” to the future firefighters of Contra Costa County Fire. Explorers are surrounded by experienced members everyday and are always learning.

Explorers are constantly training and becoming more proficient at what it takes to be the best firefighter possible. Todays drill covered deploying 1 3/4 attack line after a tough session of physical fitness training.
